Wahlburgers’ was opened in Hingham, Massachusetts n 2011. This family diner is the creation of three brothers, Paul, Donnie, and Mark. The Wahlburgers’ already operate a business, but decided to take their raging ambitions to new heights. Blending their unique styles they created an establishment that satisfies carnivore’s as well as vegetarian’s.

Listed above is a small display of the menu. Wahlburgers' offers comfort food nd Gameday snacks. They are available for dine-in and carryout.
Wahlburgers’ offers a wide variety of entrees. The main selections include: Sandwiches & burgers, salads, vegetarian alternatives, and kids combos. The laminated menu also highlights favorites from each of the brother’s. I found this refreshing because, I usually ask for recommendations for my waitress. Every menu item includes a Wahlberg spin to the traditional. Whether it be a creamy avocado sauce or roasted butternut squash sauce. The complimentary “fixin’s” you can pick from to customize your burger further even include caramelized onions.

As I looked over the menu, I could not decide which entree sounded more appetizing. Each brother has there own set of entrees that are their personal favorites. I ended up ordering Donnie’s favorite, the BBQ Burger, onion rings, and a Wahlbrewski. The BBQ Burger comes with white cheddar, jalepenos, and an avocado sauce to top it off. The combination of the sweetness of their homemade secret sauce and the stoutness of the Wahlbrewski, were a perfect blend.
There was a huge ceiling fixture which named the movies that Mark was in, and I began reminiscing scenes from movies as I awaited my order. This is a really nice setting for a family time fun after venues or for hanging with the guys and catching a football game. Flat screen televisions hung on the walls by the bar. They is a section for ordering carryout and dine-in. This makes for easy flowing traffic thru the busy restaurant.
The menu is set up so that you order each item individually. With so many unique options, this can become taxing on your wallet, if you do not go in with clear ideas in mind. The average cost of building your own combo will be around $12 to $15 bucks. In proportion to size, I would vote that it was extremely worth it.
You can often find coupons online. Be sure to keep a lookout for family deals during the holidays. Their Facebook website is a great place to grab more information about upcoming specials. I am looking forward to coming out for one of the catered food truck events hosted in Detroit, Boston, and Palo Alto.

Martino’s Restaurant is a family operated restaurant that has been open for over 40 years. Plenty of customers, that were greeted by first name, entered as I prepared to eat myself.

The menu at Martino’s is comprised of seasoned appetizers, robust wines, pasta and fresh catch froms the sea. They believe in “a change in the weather”, and offer a dozen of weekly combinations. Dinners include your choice of a House Salad or Soup, and one or two sides. There pizzas comes in several crust options and shapes. This is very convenient if your ordering carryout for small or large groups.
I ordered the handmade lasagna with some toasted bread and an italian Perino for my beverage. The plating was so well that I wanted to preserve the food. The lasagne was cradled by a sweet and savory sauce. The Pasta itself, was so fluffy I thought I might bite thru the plate. The cheese was gooey and rich but light as a feather.

The Sauteed Veal Marsala and the Broiled Halibut Oreganato, really stood out to me. The veal, served with sauteed mushrooms and onions, is also sauteed with a hint of Marsala wine. Can you say, mouthwatering! Martino’s soaks its’ halibut in a, lemon and oregano, marinate. Then, it is fried in those same juices that have given it such flavor. They are the golden pick on my next visit to West Peterson Avenue.

On the Meal versus Deal radar, Martino’s gets two and a half stars. While a outstanding dine for anniversary or date night, a full course meal will run you 15 to 20 dollars. Ordering a homemade pizza is a excellent way to take care of the kids, while enjoying a candle lit dinner with your spouse.
Overall the food was so exquisite, that I cleaned my plate wanting to capture all the flavorful juices. I have never visited Italy myself, but I feel like I had an authentic taste in Martino’s.

If money could talk, it would say spend me at Ms. Biscuit. Breakfast items contained little to no grease and had flavor that will keep you in your seat. Belgian-sized pancakes, that had me almost biting my tongue. The pancakes where made with batter that melted in my mouth. The eggs where prepared until a dandelion color. The most fickle person would not argue with the Chef. The cheese, in my scrambled eggs, was evenly spread. This is one of the first things I pay attention to when ordering restaurant food.
The menu contained a wide assortment of hometown favorites, as well as stick to your ribs southern traditional’s. Meats ranged from: corn beef hash (prepared crunchy or regular), bacon, sausage (patties or links) to lunch favorites such as burgers, chicken salads, and hot dogs. Ms. Biscuit’s is the perfect place to enjoy your Sunday newspaper with Texas toast and coffee. The coffee was fresh and more than rivals Dunkin’ Doughnuts or Starbucks. That is my “Amsterdam statement”! Service was prompt and courteous. The ambiance and freshness of this 11 year old restaurant, which held pictures on its walls of historic Chicago greatness, is enough to keep me repeating visits. Stay turned for a pizza review of the Dyleon’s Pizzeria inside of Ms. Biscuit. Enjoy luxury goodness the way food aught to be prepared.
Wham, bam, thank-you maam!

Priscilla’s is located at 4330 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL, 60162. If your looking for down home southern cooking they sport an assortment of entrees and sides that made my eyes bulge.

This is the usual layout at Priscilla’s.

My overall experience at Priscilla’s was very enjoyable. If you’re looking for some downhome southern cooking, this is the place where you would end your adventure. There plates are set up as combos, which usually consist of a main entrée, two sides, a side, and a dessert. This entire buffet is at your disposal for around $20. I think of this as a great spot to have a nice dinner on a date night.
